today i went to town to company my friend. she wanted to buy new clothes for her siblings. first of all, we find a t-shirt for her brother. we finally choose a brown shirt. the list prise is RM49.90. but after trade discount of 50%, the net price is RM24.95. then we bought a blaus for her sister at RM33.90 as a list price. after tade discount of 20%, the net price is RM27.12. the total money that she spent for the cloths is RM52.07.
calculation:
NP=L(1-r) NP=net price, L=list price, r=trade discount
a brown shirt :
NP= 49.90(1-50%)
=RM24.95
